Is it true? “The Body of Christ is Backslidden…”

There seems to be this ringing “righteous” statement made against the Body of Christ. It is back slidden, or lukewarm, or somehow not fulfilling its purpose. You also hear, “no one preaches the cross, or about hell” and on and on it goes.

Well, I’d like to ask you a question that you would think through with me. Who?

Who are these masked men and women? I talk to hundreds of pastors and I honestly don’t know of one single preacher (or Christian for that matter) who doesn’t preach this or believe this. Not one! In fact, what I see out in the Body is a lot of people with issues and problems – who in spite of their problems are still striving and working and giving and believing in Jesus with all they have! Shouldn’t that be honored as such?

I also know there is an Accuser of the Brethren – his name is Satan – and he wants believers to join his attack. May we resist the temptation to do so and instead value and esteem God’s beautiful Bride. As a great friend of mine once preached – “it is the Beautiful Body of Christ”. The attack, to me, is just way too cheap and way too easy. I see greatness in the Body!

  • Brian Corcoran Says:

    Jeremiah 23:20-22

in the latter days ye shall consider it perfectly.

I have not sent these prophets, yet they ran: I have not spoken to them, yet they prophesied.
But if they had stood in my counsel, and had caused my people to hear my words, then they should have turned them from their evil way, and from the evil of their doings.

Look at the fruit of America. Abortion; Drugs; Children outside of marriage; Alcohol; Riots, Murder, Homosexuals, failing economy, all out of control.

The Church backslidden?? Not the Bride! The Bride is making herself ready to meet the Bridegroom.. Her eyes are on one thing, The Word, becoming one with the Word as a man becomes one with his wife, proving what is that perfect and acceptable Will of God, not conforming to this world, not loving this world or the things in it.

Revelation 3:15-19 MUST COME TO PASS AND IS..

I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou were cold or hot.

So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.

Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked:

I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see.

As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent.

As with all Church Ages, a group will come out (The Bride) and will continue to march with God (The Word), the system forms and here we are in the last Church Age, dark, deceiving and full of compromisers of the Word of God. The Laodicean Age is the Pentecostal Age, an age full of false prophets and teachers just as Jesus said would be here. The Bride sees it for what it is and doesn’t look back but continues to seek a city who’s builder and maker is God. There are no more Church Ages, here we are at the final countdown.

Jesus warned us of the darkness coming. We must press into the Kingdom of God to avoid falling into darkness! Pray for Ephesians 3:16-19. God must be First Place in our lives.
A horrible thing is happening, “Because Of Sin In Abundance All Around Us, The Love Of Many is Growing Cold”. He’s not talking about the world, He’s talking about the believer.

The Bride will shine in this dark kingdom as a witness against it. What A Glorious Day We Live In!!!

Be a living epistle, read by all men, study to show yourself approved, don’t be conformed to this world, be transformed by the renewing of your mind on the Word of God, Wash yourself in the Word of God. God is the Word, make God first place in your life..

God’s glory is coming on the Bride to keep us from the darkness. (At evening time it shall be light)!
